A thirsty Russia plans for ten million barrels a day from the site, resulting in one of the world's last remaining pristine landscapes being torn apart.
Now that the superpowers are coming to blows elsewhere in the world, the US is taking the opportunity to strike a Russian strategic asset. A US naval force approaches Queen Maud Land, preparing to deploy against the dug-in Russians.
