An Air Scout's primary responsibility is to help identify enemy targets for friendly units, and if possible, engage them directly. Fast and manoeuvrable you will be able to get close in on the action, but this will also expose you to more ground fire.
Be ready to unleash countermeasures and leave in a hurry. If carrying passengers, help clear an LZ then deliver them safely to their destination prior to mixing it up with the enemy.
