Battlefield 2 NJ 2046 (Nanjing 2046 - Heavy Jeep)
Battlefield 2 NJ 2046: The NJ 2046 is a heavy troop transport and field command vehicle. Derived from a civilian minivan and enhanced for use in the field, it features 4-wheel drive transmission, a turbo-charged diesel engine, and armor plating.
Its cargo bed can be equipped with benches for transporting infantry, or configured with a canvas or steel roof to provide shelter during inclement weather. The NJ 2046 also serves as a weapons platform, supporting SAM-9 air-to-air missiles or the HJ-9 anti-tank rocket.
A fully loaded NJ 2046 is transportable by air and can be air-dropped from up to 800 meters. The NJ 2046 was a joint venture by Nanjing Yuejin Motor Corporation and the Italian car manufacturer IVECO. Five parachutes are required to air-drop the NJ 2046.
