Yes we all knew it was coming no surprise really.. More Battlefield Hardline Dev’s have been laid off over at Visceral. This news comes just four weeks after executive producer Steve Papoutsis got the boot due to poor performance!
EA have confirmed to Game Informer that a small number of staff have been laid off at Visceral here is what got said:
We made a small staffing change in our Visceral studio today to support the needs of the studio’s two current development priorities: content for Battlefield Hardline Premium and an unannounced Star Wars project.
An EA rep then Sent Game Informer this via email.
We are working to ensure the smoothest transition possible for the impacted employees
It is never good news to hear people losing there jobs, people may mock and joke but if you have ever been in this position you will know it is not nice, we at Battlefield Informer hope they find other great jobs and hope they have better luck in the near future.
