Battlefield 4 CTE Holiday Patch – All Game Modes

A Battlefield 4 CTE holiday patch has been released and now contains all game modes, this update also brings the usual updates for Dragon Valley 2015, Audio Changes, Operation Outbreak updates, Weapon & Gadget Changes, Vehicle changes and a few more.

Today we are going back to our prototypes branch and re-focus our work in the Holiday patch. This means Dragon Valley 2015 will be changing a lot in the coming weeks.

GAME MODES & RELEASES
To expedite this, we will start by splitting our focus to one of the top three game modes per release:

Deathmatch Release
Harbor area rework.

Conquest Large Release
Full map, includes several changes to the previous version, including spawn cover pass and other things. More info once we get closer to this release
Rush “Large” Release.

With Dragon Valley 2015 being a huge map – and BF2 not including the Rush game mode, we think that the combination of old but modernized map, with a newer game mode is very interesting.

We are looking to make this the biggest rush implementation in the game, and to incorporate the destructible bridges in game play.

But, what about my favorite game mode X?
Rest assured, we will also include other game modes in this map – but, the focus will lie on these three first!

RELEASE NOTES
These are the changes included in this release:

Dragon Valley 2015
Re-vamped the harbor area to fit a well known and loved death match experience from the past…
Lots of art changes, pending flag cover passes (very much work in progress until Conquest Large release)

Vehicle Updates
MAA: Reduce damage multiplier vs RHIB and transport helicopter
AA gun damage multipliers changed vs:
Transport Heli 0.6 (1.0)
RHIB 0.6 from (1.0)
FAC 0.18 from (0.25)
Jeeps 0.6 from (0.5)

Misc Updates
Operation Locker: Collision of tunnel entrance was rotated. Rotated it back. Fixed shadow popping in same tunnel. Ground Heights were old and didn’t represent the depth of the Panopticon area. Regenerated Ground Heights with representative panopticon depth.
Consoles: Added console aim assist server setting (for RANKED, UNRANKED server)

Fall Patch coherence
This release also includes a full integration of the Fall Patch – which means the changes you’d expect to see there should be in here. IE the vehicle balance should be the the “new” one etc. Let us know if you find any inconsistencies!
