Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment – Xbox One

Many of you will now be glad to hear “Xbox One” users can now participate in the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment and having played it on PC i can say it is pretty awesome trying out the new stuff before it is released.

The Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment (CTE) on PC has enabled us to change and improve on Battlefield 4 in an unprecedented way, with the help of your input. Now, we are excited to announce that the CTE is coming to Xbox One.

With continued Battlefield 4 developmental support, this will allow us to iterate on more daring and experimental changes directly affecting Xbox One players. As a player in the CTE, you will be able to provide your feedback and influence the future of Battlefield 4.

The type of updates on the CTE on Xbox One will be bigger and less frequent than on PC. However, you can still expect regular updates, tests, and prototypes.

As you play the latest build on the CTE, you’ll be able to provide your feedback on the CTE Battlelog forums.

This first release on Xbox One includes the Community Map that’s currently being developed (see the Community Map Project) and three night maps from the “Night Operations Project”. Keep in mind that anything you see in the CTE might not be released into the retail game.
