The Battlefield 1 Game Modes page has been updated and this time gives you information on Team death match, Conquest Assault and the all new War Pigeons mode and more.
Before you jump into Battlefield 1 multiplayer, get to grips with the different battle types.
Put your piloting skills to the test in this air-only mode, outmaneuver your opponents, and become a knight of the sky. On Razor’s Edge, engage in roaring dogfights among single-seat fighter planes only. Seize your chance to prove your worth as a flying ace.
In this twist on the signature Conquest mode, attackers and defenders fight over key areas which all begin in the control of the defending team. Be mindful of your surroundings to gain the edge on your opponent, as tension flares around each control point.
OPERATIONS – 40 or 64 players
Operations offer epic journeys across several maps based upon real battles of World War I. Play Campaigns, Offense or Defence.
In Supply Drop, airdrops will appear periodically, and your team must defend the drop location to recover those supplies. The more soldiers controlling the point, the faster the supplies are recovered.
Experience a mix of Conquest and Rush as you fight for chained control points in a tug-of-war frontline. Both teams fight for one flag at a time and when this objective is captured the action moves on to the next.
CONQUEST – 64 players
Conquest is a large-scale game mode with up to 64 players fighting for the control of key objectives. With large armies on foot or behind the wheel and the addition of fearsome Behemoths.
DOMINATION – 24 players
Domination offers a fast-paced infantry focused combat in close quarter locations. It’s a smaller, but more focused version of Conquest, and the fighting revolves around strategic objectives.
RUSH – 24 players
Rush mode will have you interacting with both communications and artillery. Attacking forces must find and destroy the Defending force’s Telegraph Posts, which the defenders can use to call in artillery strikes.
WAR PIGEONS – 24 players
In the War Pigeons game mode the opposing sides compete to use messenger pigeons to call in artillery barrages on the enemy.
TEAM DEATHMATCH – 24 players
Team Deathmatch hones in on the brutal simplicity of infantry warfare: kill or be killed. Defeat as many enemies as possible while protecting yourself and your team mates.
